Trio Craft is a reputable and well-established company noted for its hand-woven woolen carpets, fabrics, stuffed toys, table mats, and curtains. It has over 20 years of experience in Kenya supplying quality products to clients worldwide including large institutions such as hotels and tourist lodges in East Africa. Now, Trio Craft has opened a larger company in Ethiopia with Headquarter in Addis Ababa. Trio Craft Plc. (Ethiopia) is owned and managed by two experienced and creative Ethiopian women.

Trio Craft’s vision is based on commercializing the rich Ethiopian arts and crafts heritage. The company has therefore identified and assembled a cadre of skilled Ethiopian artists and craftsmen who have already undergone re-training by the Company vis-a-vis its main product lines. Currently the company provides employment for 120 men and women. The projected size is 500 employees. Priority of employment is given to school drop out youths and women.

The company uses wide range of natural products available and produced by farmers and rural communities including organically grown cotton, fibers and plant dyes. The company carries out all operations in house and thus has the following main processing and production units, namely:
