A group of 15 Irish computer science volunteers are traveling to Africa this summer to provide computer training to teachers and students in Ethiopia and Kenya. The group is being organized by Camara Education and UCD Volunteers and is part of Camara’s Education for Africa Program. The volunteers are made up of final year students, PhDs and computer science professionals. NEW TELECOM STRATEGY NEEDS OVER 12 BLN BIRR |

Juneidin Sado, Minister for Transport and Communication told parliament that telecommunications work requires about 12,895 billion birr to carry out work over the next five years.
